Problems I treat
Problems I Work With
Below are some of the common concerns I help clients with. You don’t need to fit into a category to begin therapy—these are simply starting points for understanding how I may support you.
Depression
Feelings of sadness, emptiness, low motivation, or disconnection can make daily life feel heavy and exhausting. Therapy can help you understand underlying patterns, rebuild a sense of meaning, and develop tools to feel more engaged and alive.
Anxiety
Anxiety can show up as constant worry, racing thoughts, panic, or physical tension. Together, we’ll work on calming your nervous system, understanding triggers, and building confidence in your ability to cope.
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
OCD involves intrusive thoughts and repetitive behaviors or mental rituals that feel hard to control. Therapy can help you reduce the power of these cycles and build a more flexible, compassionate relationship with your thoughts.
Relationship Challenges
Whether you’re navigating conflict, communication struggles, attachment wounds, or intimacy issues, therapy can help you build healthier patterns of connection—with partners, family, friends, and yourself.
Neurodivergence (ADHD / Autism Spectrum)
I offer affirming support for neurodivergent individuals, including ADHD and autistic clients. Therapy may focus on emotional regulation, executive functioning, identity, relationships, and building systems that work with your brain rather than against it.
Anger & Emotional Reactivity
Anger can feel overwhelming or lead to regretful reactions. Therapy can help you understand the roots of anger, develop regulation skills, and express emotions in ways that feel safe and effective.
Purpose, Identity, & Life Direction
Questions about meaning, purpose, spirituality, career, or identity can arise during transitions or periods of uncertainty. Therapy offers a space to explore who you are and what matters most to you.
Addiction & Compulsive Behaviors
Addiction and compulsive behaviors often develop as ways of coping with pain, stress, or trauma. Using a non-judgmental, collaborative approach, therapy can support recovery, motivation for change, and building healthier coping strategies.
Trauma Recovery
Trauma can impact emotions, relationships, self-worth, and the body. Trauma-informed and trauma-focused therapies help you feel safer, more grounded, and less controlled by past experiences, while building resilience and self-compassion.
